Te Ataarangi is a Maori language movement whose philosophy of total immersion Maori language learning has grown to include thousands since its inception in the early 1980's. Te Ataarangi has sent representatives from Aotearoa to the islands of the Pacific on a language exchange trip to explore the origins of Te Reo Maori one of the sites that the group will visit is the island of Rapa Nui (Easter Island).
