Samoan tattooist Su'a Vitale Fa'alavelave has returned to traditional tatau practise after being stood down pending an investigation of his practise. Four young men were infected with necrotising fasciitis in 2006 while being tattooed under his care. Health Department has issued guidelines for people considering getting tattoos.
