A look at the first ever Te Kumete O Te Moana Nui regatta in Auckland, an event between four traditional double hulled vaka (canoes) to promote ocean environmental awareness, recapture Pacific voyaging skills and re-establish cultural links between Pacific countries. Later in 2010 the four vaka go on a pan Pacific voyage.
