Maori woman Sheena Alaiasia has been named National Middle Level Principal of the Year by MetLife and the National Association of Secondary School Principals (NASSP) in the United States. Sheena Alaiasia of Ngati Kahungunu and Kai Tahu descent, is the Principal of Kings Intermediate School in Oahu, Hawaii.
