A film examining the Taupo Basin in the central North Island where holiday-makers by their presence in ever increasing numbers begin to destroy the environment which they came to enjoy. There is a plan for the regulated development of the region, "Everyman" and a "Conservator" in stylised treatment demonstrate the conflict between private enjoyment and public despoilation.
