Interview with Merata Mita, film-maker, a rarity in the film-making industry as both a Maori and a woman. Currently she is assisting on the feature film "A Quiet Earth". Early in her film-making career she directed a film on the Mangere bridge dispute, then followed "Bastion Point Day 507" about the Ngati Whatua protest, and "Patu" on the 1981 Springbok tour protest. In the feature film "Utu" she played a major acting role.
